Trav and Meg Hoping to Adopt

Our story begins a few years ago in our History 1700 class while in college. Travis had a hard time focusing on the class because he was so distracted by Megan. He loved going to class just to see her, and Megan loved going to class to see Travis shyly smile at her from across the room. Travis finally made his move and asked her out. Megan's busy schedule prevented any dates for a while, but Travis persisted and the rest is history!

While dating we loved to be outside hiking, biking, roller-blading, going to the beach, and going on fun road trips. We loved spending every possible minute together and nothing has changed after more than 7 years of marriage. We dated for 1 1/2 years before we were finally married in 2006. As a married couple we have driven across the country and have taken fun vacations to Hawaii and the Caribbean. We also recently traveled around China and have plans to go see many other parts of the world. We have lived in Utah, Florida, Arizona and even Shanghai, China since we've been married. We love to be adventurous and try new things and will continue to do the same with our family in the future.

What Travis says about Megan:
Megan is beautiful inside and out. She always finds a way to make me smile and she makes me so happy. She is smart, funny and is always a good sport with everything they do. She always surprises him with her athleticism and talents. I love watching her water ski, snow ski, and even do back flips on the trampoline. I love playing golf with her, throwing a football around in the backyard or getting into a heated tennis match with her. I was first able to see how sweet and compassionate Megan is when she was working at the hospital as a Respiratory Therapist. She was a favorite to all her patients and she truly did everything she could to make them feel better. She uses those same attributes to care for our daughter. Megan is the best mom in the world! I love watching her take care of our child. She always gives our daughter so much attention and teaches her so many new things each day. She really is special and I love her so much! I'm so happy that we found each other.

What Megan says about Travis:

Travis is such an amazing guy! I love spending time with him and always listening to his crazy stories. He is so funny, especially when we are around our friends and family. The most amazing thing about him is everyone who meets him and knows him absolutely loves to be around him because of his infectiously fun personality. I love watching him play with our daughter as he absolutely loves spending time with her. She always follows him around when he is at home and she is constantly asking for him when he is gone. He also loves spending time playing with his many nieces and nephews. They constantly hang on him and he acts as their jungle-gym. He enjoys his job as an airline pilot, traveling to many cities around the world. He loves to stay active and play lots of basketball and other sports. I love when he takes me out on fun dates and gives me much needed foot rubs. He has a good heart and always cares about other people. I love him so much and am so happy he is my husband.
